Dallas, Texas, August 1, 2005
Ameristar Jet Charter, Inc.,
the country’s largest operator of on-demand cargo jet aircraft, announced the
promotion of R. Troy Croasmun to Director, Global Sales.
Previously a regional sales manager for FedEx Custom Critical, Troy joined
Ameristar in January 2000 as the company’s first outside sales manager. That
year, Ameristar boasted record-setting revenues despite the overall sluggishness
of the air charter industry.
Troy designed the sales program for AmeristarÔ,
which included creation of territory divisions and commission program. “Troy is
invaluable to Ameristar, “ says Tom Wachendorfer, Jr, the company’s founder and
president, “for reasons surpassing his sales skills. He has a customer service
background and technical expertise in air charter operations. As a result, he
never sells something that can’t be delivered. Most importantly, though, you
can tell he just loves the business. You can’t teach that, and its Troy’s
enthusiasm for the work that makes him so good at it.”
An avid hunter, Troy makes his home in Akron, Ohio, with his wife and two
children.
Ameristar Jet Charter provides
worldwide on-demand charter service and charter logistics management. Tom
Wachendorfer, Jr. wholly owns Ameristar Jet Charter and Ameristar Air Cargo.
