Ameristar Announces Trucking Operations to or from Canada

Ameristar Jet Charter, Inc., the country’s largest operator of on-demand cargo jet aircraft, announced its operating authority to perform trucking operations to or from Canada.

In addition to it’s fleet of more than 30 jet aircraft, Ameristar has full ground handling equipment at its Dallas, El Paso, and Detroit bases.

“We had regular requests for shipments going to Canada,” said Roy F. Kornacki, the Ground Operations Manager at Willow Run Airport in Detroit. “Obtaining our operating authority was the next step in serving our customers on both sides of the border.

Cogistics Corporation, of Lakeland, Florida, booked the company’s first delivery to Canada. Ameristar delivered freight in a 24’ straight truck from a Falcon Jet at the Willow Run Airport to Blenheim, Ontario.

Ameristar Jet Charter provides worldwide on-demand charter service and charter logistics management. Tom Wachendorfer, Jr. wholly owns Ameristar Jet Charter and Ameristar Air Cargo.
